Unpaid and Under Attack: DR Congo's Ebola Workers as the Outbreak Spreads

  • The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo has now killed about 1,000 people and infected more than 2,500, and the health workers fighting it say they have not been paid since it began in May.
  • More than 100 of them have caught the virus, and some have been attacked by residents who doubt the disease is real.
