Kent Project Aims to Cut Invasive Mink by 90% to Save Water Voles
- A conservation project in Kent plans to slash the county's population of American mink, an invasive predator, by around 90% to protect native water voles and other threatened wildlife.
- It builds on a landmark scheme in East Anglia that removed mink from three counties for the first time in Britain.
