Eala Stuns Swiatek at Wimbledon to Become the First Filipino in a Slam's Last 16

Alexandra Eala beat defending champion Iga Swiatek 7-6, 6-2 in the third round at Wimbledon to reach the fourth round, becoming the first player from the Philippines to reach the second week of a Grand Slam.
The 21-year-old dedicated the win to young Filipino girls, and next faces the 2024 finalist Jasmine Paolini.
