Hamas Dissolves Its Gaza Governing Body, Clearing a Path for a Technocratic Committee

Hamas said on Monday it has dissolved the committee that has run day-to-day government in the Gaza Strip, a step meant to let a Palestinian technocratic body take over civilian administration under the US-brokered ceasefire.
The move leaves the harder question of Hamas's disarmament unresolved.
