At least 40 killed as an overcrowded bus plunges into a ravine in southwest Pakistan
- At least 40 people were killed when a passenger bus travelling from Quetta toward Peshawar went off a mountain road and fell into a deep ravine in southwest Pakistan, officials said.
- The bus was overcrowded — carrying passengers from a second vehicle that had broken down — and initial reports pointed to brake failure on the treacherous terrain.
