Medication narrows the heart-risk gap for older adults with obesity, study finds
- A large international study finds that older adults with obesity in several wealthy countries now have blood pressure and cholesterol levels similar to — or even better than — those of people at a normal weight, a shift researchers attribute to the widespread use of statins and blood-pressure drugs.
