Robert Kimball, who rescued lost lyrics of the American songbook, dies at 86
- Robert Kimball, a historian and archivist who did more than almost anyone to preserve the lyrics of America's great theater songwriters — Cole Porter, Ira Gershwin, Lorenz Hart and others — has died at 86, according to The New York Times.
