UK regulator opens investigation into TikTok over child safety

Britain's communications watchdog, Ofcom, has launched a formal investigation into whether TikTok does enough to keep children off the platform and away from harmful content, under the country's Online Safety Act.
TikTok says it is confident it meets its obligations.
